Using Filters in Scheduling Views
Filters help you focus on specific tasks by hiding irrelevant information from your schedule. You can apply filters across all scheduling views including Takt Time, Flowline, Gantt, Network, Table, and Grid.
Note: Filters work consistently across all scheduling views. When you change a filter setting, the modified filter header and filter icon turn orange to indicate active customization.
How to Filter by Tasks
- Navigate to your desired scheduling view (Takt Time, Flowline, Gantt, Network, Table, or Grid).
- Click Open filters in the right panel.
- Expand the Tasks section.
- Deselect specific tasks to hide them from the schedule.
How to Filter by Codes
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Codes section.
- Search for a specific code attached to tasks.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Select Results to show only tasks with the specified code.
- Select Others to show all tasks except those with the specified code.
- Remove a code filter by clicking the x next to it in the search bar.
Additional code filtering options:
- Select Tasks without code to hide all tasks that don't have codes assigned.
- Deselect a specific code name to hide all tasks with that code.
How to Filter by Locations
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Locations section.
- Search for a specific location.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Select Results to show only tasks with the specified location.
- Select Others to show all tasks except those with the specified location.
- Click Expand list to view all available locations.
- Uncheck specific locations from the expanded list to hide them from the schedule.
- Remove a location filter by clicking the x next to it in the search bar.
How to Filter by Suppliers
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Suppliers section.
- Deselect Tasks without suppliers to show only tasks with suppliers assigned.
- Deselect specific suppliers to hide tasks linked to those suppliers.
How to Filter by Resources
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Resources section.
- Deselect Tasks without resources to show only tasks with resources assigned.
- Deselect specific resources to hide tasks linked to those resources.
How to Filter by Tags
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Tags section.
- Deselect Tasks without tags to show only tasks with tags assigned.
- Deselect specific tags to hide tasks linked to those tags.
How to Filter by Date Range
- Open the filters panel.
- Expand the Date range section.
- Select a new start date and finish date.
- View the updated schedule showing only tasks within the selected date range.
- Click the x next to the dates to remove the date filter and return to the original schedule view.
Managing Saved Filters
Save your frequently used filter combinations to quickly apply them in the future.
How to Save a Filter
- Configure your desired filter settings in the filters panel.
- Click the Save filter button.
- Enter a name for your filter.
- Confirm to save the filter.
Tip: Once saved, your filter appears in a dropdown menu at the top of the filters panel for quick access.
How to Apply a Saved Filter
- Open the filters panel.
- Click the filter dropdown menu.
- Select your saved filter from the list.
Important: Filters apply to your current view only and don't affect the underlying schedule data. Other users viewing the same schedule won't see your filter settings unless you save and share the filtered view.
How to Rename a Saved Filter
- Select the saved filter from the dropdown menu.
- Click More (three dots icon).
- Select Rename filter.
- Enter the new name and confirm.
How to Delete a Saved Filter
- Select the saved filter from the dropdown menu.
- Click More (three dots icon).
- Select Delete filter.
- Confirm the deletion.
How to Reset Filters
- Open the filters panel.
- Click Reset filters at the bottom of the panel.
The schedule returns to its default view with all tasks visible.
