How to Print a Schedule to PDF
- Open the schedule view you want to print (Takt Time, Flowline, Gantt, or Table).
- Click the Print to PDF button.
- Click Update preview to see how your schedule will look.
Customizing Print Settings
Date Range
- Select your preferred date range option (default is Complete).
- Choose Custom to set specific start and finish dates.
- Adjust the dates as needed.
- Click Update preview to see the changes.
Timeline Layout
- Choose your timeline layout (default is Year | Month).
- Switch between the available timeline layouts.
- Review the updated preview.
Scale
- Select your scaling preference (default is Fit to one page):
- Fit to one page — displays the entire schedule on a single page
- Fit to page width — scales the schedule to fit the width; may extend across multiple pages vertically
- No scaling — prints at actual size; may extend across multiple pages horizontally
- Click Update preview to see how the scale affects your layout.
Paper Orientation
- Choose between Landscape (default, horizontal orientation) or Portrait (vertical orientation).
- Review the updated preview.
Paper Size
- Select your paper size (default is A3).
- Change to your preferred size from the dropdown menu.
- Check that the schedule preview updates correctly.
Font Sizes
- Adjust the font sizes for different elements (defaults are Timeline: 14px, Location: Auto scale, Task font: Auto scale):
- Timeline font size — controls the size of timeline text
- Location font size — controls the size of location labels
- Task font size — controls the size of task text
- Click Update preview after making changes.
Timeline Width and Height
- Enter your preferred width and height values.
- Review the updated schedule dimensions in the preview.
Additional Options
- Tick the Show page number checkbox (enabled by default) to display page numbers on your printout.
- Add custom text in the Footer text field if you want to include notes or information at the bottom of each page.
- Navigate through multiple pages in the preview to verify page numbers are correct.
Previewing and Printing
- Use the Zoom slider to adjust the preview display from 20% to 200%.
- Review all pages of your schedule in the preview window.
- Click Print when you're satisfied with the settings.
- Wait for the download icon to appear and your PDF to download.
Tip: For large projects, allow extra time for the preview to load and the PDF to generate.
Note: The same print settings and options are available across all schedule views: Takt Time, Flowline, Gantt, and Table.
