How to Invite Users to a Project
- Click the Invite users button to open the invitation dialog.
- Enter the email address of the user you want to invite.
- Select a role for the user: Manager, Planner, or Viewer.
- Click the + button to add the user to the ready-to-invite list.
- Repeat steps 2-4 to invite additional users if needed.
- Click Send invitations to send all pending invitations.
Email Validation:
- Invalid email addresses will display an error message.
- You cannot invite users who are already part of the project.
Note: If you're an Organization Member or Guest (not an Admin), invitations for Planner or Manager roles may require approval from an Organization Admin, because these role required the user to be assigned to a license.
How to Manage Pending Invitations
The Invited table displays all users who have been invited but haven't yet accepted or declined.
Change a Role for an Invited User
- Right-click on the invited user in the Invited table.
- Select Change role from the context menu.
- Choose the new role: Manager, Planner, or Viewer.
The invited user will see the updated role when they view the invitation.
Remove a Pending Invitation
- Right-click on the invited user in the Invited table.
- Select Remove invitation from the context menu.
The invitation will be removed from the table, and the user will no longer see the project invitation.
How to Manage Project Users
Once users accept their invitations, they appear in the Project users table with their name, email, role, and phone number (if provided).
Change a User's Role
- Right-click on the user in the Project users table.
- Select Change role from the context menu.
- Choose the new role: Manager, Planner, or Viewer.
The user's permissions will update immediately based on their new role.
Role Permissions:
- Manager: Full project access, including user management and project settings.
- Planner: Can edit schedules and manage project data.
- Viewer: Read-only access to the project and schedules.
Remove a User from a Project
- Right-click on the user in the Project users table.
- Select Remove from the context menu.
- Confirm the removal when prompted.
The user will be removed from the project and will no longer have access to it.
