Understanding Validation Messages During Import
Tactplan validates your data before importing. If any values are invalid, an inline message will appear next to the affected field. The table below describes the most common validation messages
| Field | Invalid Input | Validation Message |
|---|---|---|
| ID | A non-existing ID | Invalid id |
| Name | Empty value | Value is required |
| Consumption | A value lower than 0.00001 | Number must be greater than or equal to 0.00001 |
| Consumption | Non-numeric value | Invalid number |
| Location Precision | Non-numeric value | Invalid number |
| Location Precision | Numeric value higher than the lowest location level | The location precision value is not valid |
| Quantity (by location) | Non-numeric value | Invalid number |
| Quantity (by location) | A value lower than 0.00001 | Value is set to 0 |
Note: If you set the Location Precision to a higher level than where quantities are specified, quantity values will be automatically summarized to the selected location level.
