Copying Tasks and Dependencies

Copying a Single Task

1. Navigate to Scheduling - Takt Time.
2. Click the copy icon on the task you want to copy. The outline of the icon turns orange.
3. Double-click the copy icon. The entire icon box turns orange.
4. Select Copy selected. A copy of the task is created without any dependencies.

Copying Multiple Tasks

1. Select multiple tasks by clicking on them.
2. Click the copy icon.
3. Select Copy selected. Copies of all selected tasks are created.

Copying Tasks with Dependencies

Add Dependency to Copied Task

1. Select a task that has a dependency.
2. Click the copy icon.
3. Select Dependency options.
4. Choose Add dependency to copied task.
5. Click Copy selected. A copy is created with a Finish-to-Start (FS) dependency linking the original task to the copied task.

This option also works when copying multiple tasks with dependencies.

Copy Dependencies to Copied Tasks

1. Select a task that has a dependency.
2. Click the copy icon.
3. Select Copy dependencies to copied tasks.
4. Click Copy selected. A copy is created with the same dependencies as the original task.

This option also works when copying multiple tasks with dependencies.

Copy Dependencies between Copied Tasks

1. Select a task that has a dependency.
2. Click the copy icon.
3. Select Copy dependencies between copied tasks.
4. Click Copy selected. A copy is created with copies of dependencies between the new tasks.

This option also works when copying multiple tasks with dependencies.
